  The Michelin Guide's review
Sankt Peter Benedictine abbey can be recognised by the two bulb-topped towers of its church. The abbey was built between 1724 and 1754 over the site of the 11C burial place of the founders of Freiburg. The Rococo library, decorated in typical Brisgau Baroque style, is home to a painted ceiling and, halfway up the wall, a curved gallery adorned with statues. Footpaths offering walks of various lengths and difficulty depart from the different car parks.
