The Michelin Guide's review
This magnificent museum owes its existence to banker-philanthropist Tom James and his wife Mary, who were passionate about all aspects of the American West. The building, whose blond-wood interior walls are reminiscent of the walls of the Grand Canyon in Colorado, houses some of the 3 000 items in their collection. There's nothing lacking in characters, landscapes and history to make this visit to Florida as interesting as it is unexpected.
