Religious monument
The Michelin Guide's review
The elevated location of the cloister of Ste-Marie Cathedral, in addition to its architectural qualities, endows it with a distinctive spiritual and poetic quality. The south gallery, open to the world, offers the visitor the rare privilege of contemplating the surrounding landscaped from within a walled garden. Then make your way above the North gallery, where the Treasure is located. It houses 16C embroidered copes dating from 1309, episcopal ornaments and the crozier of St Bertrand, a French prelate who died in 1123.
