Palazzo del Giardino

 Michelin Guide
 Civil and military monument
  The Michelin Guide's review
Relatively modest in size and based on the design of suburban villas, Palazzo Giardino was the duke's private residence. Simply painted in white and then embellished with a delightful oak cornice, the palace's walls and ceilings were richly decorated by Bernardino Campi (1522-91) and his pupils. The 97m-long great gallery is one of the longest built during the Renaissance period.
 Location
 Piazza d'Armi, 146018 Sabbioneta
