Incan ruins of Pisac

 Michelin Guide
 Well worth the diversions
Historical and archaeological site
  The Michelin Guide's review
Dominated by Q'Allaqasa Fort, the ruins of Písac stand on a rocky platform, 400m above the village. The site is striking for the harmony and beauty of its andenes, agricultural terraces built by the Incas and still farmed today, forming ample graceful curves against the mountain's hillsides. The religious sector (Intihuatana), the heart of which is the Sun Temple, is splendid. Also worthy of note are Qanchisracay and Pisaqa, a residential neighbourhood.
