The perfect setting for a boat ride through the Bois de Vincennes, where the shores of the lake are crowded on Sundays in fine weather. Like the Lac Daumesnil, it has its own island, the Ile de la Porte Jaune. The lake takes its name from the Minimes Convent, a former enclave in the royal forest of Louis VII.
