Le Plateau Mont-Royal neighbourhood lies north of Sherbrooke Street (rue Sherbrooke) and east of Mount Royal (Mont Royal), spanning different levels joined by boulevard St Laurent. Familiarly called "the Plateau", it is renowned as Montreal's most creative and artistically happening area.
