Tucked away behind a rather sober façade and doorway with a triangular pediment is the Chapel of the White Penitents, a jewel of Baroque art; it was rebuilt in the 17C and houses some exceptional painted and sculpted decor. It is currently undergoing a major restoration project that restricts the visitors have access to.
