With its rough stone walls, Agios Nikolaos Monastery tucked away in the woods resembles a sheepfold. Probably constructed in the 14C, it was rebuilt around 1700 and decorated with frescoes. Also note the gilded wood iconostasis. The most precious Byzantine icons have been transferred to the Tositsa Mansion in Metsovo.
