This modern museum on the outskirts of the village does an admirable job of explaining the identity of the Isle of Anglesey. Aside from imaginatively portraying the island's past, the museum covers current issues. It presents a reconstruction of the workshop of landscape artist Charles Tunnicliffe (1901-79), a great British naturalistic painter.
