Upstream from La Roche-en-Ardenne, the Ourthe Supérieure is a fast-flowing river that runs through a wild and beautiful landscape. The road, alternating between valley and plateau, offers superb viewpoints over the countryside. Beyond Nisramont, it splits in two: the Eastern Ourthe (Ourthe Orientale) and Western Ourthe (Ourthe Occidentale).
