Since 1994, Johannesburg's former fruit and vegetable market (1913) has been home to a vast museum complex comprising several collections which highlight the history of the country and Africa in general. The first floor displays a very interesting array of old photos and photographic equipment. It also includes numerous views of the city from the early 20C.
