This building is the main feature of interest on the pretty Plaza de la Asunción. Its Renaissance façade boasts a decoration of grotesques and cupids alongside Hercules and Julius Caesar and flanked by the Cardinal Virtues. To the left, note the vaulted open gallery with three arches supported by slender columns that contrast with the robust Corinthian columns of the door and windows on the opposite side.
