The construction of a motorway bridge has done little to discourage the stallholders at Guiyang's bird and flower market. Florists, pet shops and artisans stalls now crowd beneath the concrete bridge forming narrow aisles, so many tiny shops selling ceramics, calligraphies, jade pieces etc.
