The Michelin Guide's review
Built in the 12C and modified on numerous occasions until the 19C, San Lorenzo cathedral boasts a splendid Genoese Gothic façade. The severe and majestic interior has marble columns in the nave which support a false gallery. Among its many fine works of art, the treasury includes the famous "Sacro Catino", a hexagonal cup in emerald green blown glass, which legend identifies as the Holy Grail.
