The Jean-Garcin history museum offers a literary, artistic and historic take on the 1939-1945 war years: everyday life during the occupation, the Resistance in the Vaucluse and the authors of the time. The latter, such as René Char, were actively engaged in thought on the future of the ideals of the Resistance movement.
