  The Michelin Guide's review
Newgrange, the most impressive passage tomb in western Europe, was built some 5,000 years ago by men who had neither wheel nor iron. The structure is comprised of a passage tomb, covered by a cairn of stones some 100m/330ft in diameter enclosed within a circle of kerbstones and decorative slabs.
