  The Michelin Guide's review
The museum includes fine archaeological collections, works of sacred art and a section dedicated to Marshal Marmont. But the showpiece is undoubtedly the Treasure of Vix, discovered in 1953 in a princely tomb dating back to the first Iron Age (c 500 BC). Close to the remains of a Celtic woman, archaeologists uncovered a ceremonial chariot, tableware, a splendid gold torc (necklace) and, most significantly, a gigantic bronze volute krater, the largest metal vase from Antiquity ever discovered.
