Halfway from the Aiguille du Midi, this halt (alt. 2,317m), accessible by cable-car, is located at the foot of the jagged Aiguilles de Chamonix peaks. The sweeping view unfolds over the upper portion of Mont Blanc. It is the starting point for a number of easy walks (wear appropriate footwear), like the crossing to Montenvers.
