  The Michelin Guide's review
This 2 000 year-old fort is one of the most famous ringforts in Ireland. Built of drystone on higher ground to make it possible to keep a lookout without being seen, it housed a small community. The walls, 4m thick and 5m high, are doubled up, inside, with a series of stairs leading to the parapet.
