  The Michelin Guide's review
Inishowen peninsula, the northernmost headland of Ireland, juts out into the North Atlantic. Its main town is Derry in Northern Ireland. The road skirts the coast as far as Malin Head, Ireland's northernmost point. This harsh landscape is depicted by forbidding mountains covered in peat bogs and fringed by steep cliffs and vast expanses of sand, particularly visible at Mamore Gap.
