  The Michelin Guide's review
This art museum houses an extensive collection of works from the Brescia school, which is characterised by paintings that are rich in tone and boast a solid compositional balance. Here, you can admire canvases by Moretto, who painted religious scenes and portraits, and Romanino, who was heavily influenced by the Venetian style, as well as Vincenzo Foppa and Savoldo. The museum's 21 rooms were completely redesigned in 2018 and now feature a more modern and pleasant layout for visitors.
