  The Michelin Guide's review
The cable car stops at the Douglass refuge (Douglass-Hütte) in a lakeside location at an altitude of 1 980m. Against a backdrop of jagged ridges, the Lünersee was always the largest lake in the eastern Alps; in 1958 a dam raised the water level by 27m, creating a reservoir of 78 million m3 supplying the power plants of Lünersee, Rodund I, Rodund II and Walgau. A well planned circuit path allows visitors to walk round the lake, sited in a fine enclosed valley.
