The Michelin Guide's review
This museum, devoted to history and the Fine Arts, occupies an 11C-18C episcopal palace, whose structure is enhanced by an airy, modern interior layout. The collections, curated for the most part by Baron Gérard (1818-1903), stretch from Prehistory to the 20C. Highlights include a masterpiece by Caillebotte, Portraits à la campagne, and the chapel, a beautiful example of Normandy Renaissance.
