A well-graded switchback road climbs Stoney Squaw Mountain toward Mt. Norquay's chairlift, providing increasingly impressive views south and east over Bow Valley and of the townsite of Banff, with Mount Rundle, shaped like a tilted table, in the background. Come winter, skiers flock to the small resorts snow-bound slopes.
