  The Michelin Guide's review
The lower part of this narrow valley of glacial origin is dominated by the summits of the impressive Mount Liathach, which peaks at 1 054m. The imposing range of Beinn Eighe (1 010m) is a long ridge of seven peaks, the most easterly of which have a whitish quartz cap. This magnificent group of munros overlooking Loch Torridon and Loch Maree encapsulates the rugged, majestic beauty of the west coast.
