Civil and military monument
The Michelin Guide's review
The former presidential palace of South Vietnam, Reunification Palace or Independence Palace has been used for a different purpose since the end of the war. Nowadays a museum, it provides an opportunity to gain an insight into the setting of the country's former seat of power. In a hushed atmosphere, admire the contrasting decor of austere marble and more luxurious furnishings in a series of rooms embellished with furniture with a resolutely 1970s feel, softened by Asian influences.
