The Michelin Guide's review
This palace built between 1929 and 1936 for the League of Nations has, since 1946, been the second centre of the United Nations, whose headquarters are in New York. One can visit the Assembly Hall, used for plenary sessions, and the Council Chamber, which is decorated with frescoes by José Marià Sert evoking the technological, social and scientific progress of humanity.
