The Michelin Guide's review
It was prohibited in 1915, and was also known as «the green Muse». It was a source of inspiration for a series of artists and writers. This liqueur, an ancestor of the pastis, an aniseed flavoured apéritif, is honoured here by means of paintings, posters or objects which show the important role it had in the lives of 19C cafés.
