Traditional Cuisine
The Michelin Guide's review
One of this establishment’s most striking features is its privileged setting: a century-old former warehouse located beside the city’s railway station. This charming, fully renovated space, regarded as one of the region’s tourist attractions, serves cuisine grounded in tradition and local roots, with pride of place given to seasonal produce and native breeds. The result is dishes such as PDO Maronesa veal rib and Bísaro pork secreto, while the dessert selection is headed by the traditional Pão-de-Ló à Caisdavilla, firm on the outside and creamy within, releasing a delicious egg custard when cut. The offering includes à la carte options, a five-course tasting menu guided by the chef’s inspiration, and a set lunch menu (available on weekdays); if you do not have time for a full meal, you can opt for a generous brunch.
