The Michelin Guide's review
It was here, in 1895, that Luigi Lavazza opened a grocer’s shop and immediately began blending coffee. Today, the same establishment is home to a modern restaurant serving excellent cuisine, led by a chef from Le Marche who offers one of the city’s most convincing interpretations of Piedmontese gastronomy, often revisited with a creative touch. Among the dishes, the carousel of starters is truly not to be missed, as is the white truffle (when in season). The wine list is also highly interesting, organised according to a chromatic system that identifies the various styles: from “voluptuous” to “purpureal”, from “luminous” to “veiled”. A refined game that invites guests to indulge in the choice of the perfect bottle for every palate and occasion.
