The Michelin Guide's review
Half an hour from Dijon, these premises that used to house Le Spuller hotel and restaurant have been given a new lease of life. Two spacious rooms done out in a contemporary brasserie style lie behind the cream-coloured façade with green shutters. The room on the street side has a counter, parquet flooring, velvet banquettes and an Art Deco-style glass "ceiling"; the second room, giving onto the countryside, is more intimate. Nora and Dorian, who met at hospitality school, cook up fresh and expressive dishes: pike-perch, spinach and essence of fish and mussels, or gyoza with the last of the summer vegetables. Summus Brideno, the etymological root of Sombernon, references the source of the nearby Brenne River.
