Vinaiolo has brought a slice of la dolce vita to Haidhausen since opening in 1997. A charming, well-drilled team provides attentive service, with a spirit that is tipicamente italiano. The Italian cuisine includes dishes such as medium-rare veal chop, thinly breadcrumbed alla milanese, served with date tomato salad, crispy potatoes and basil mayonnaise. In the evening, diners can opt for a set menu or à la carte choices. At lunchtime, a tempting, keenly priced set menu is written up on the specials board. The wine list features an appealing selection of Italian wines. The cosy, authentic atmosphere is accentuated by furnishings salvaged from a Trieste grocer's shop dating back to 1904!
