The Michelin Guide's review
This elegant restaurant sits within Dumbleton Hall, a substantial English manor house surrounded by extensive grounds and gardens. Lebanese Cedar trees are a particular feature and give their name to the restaurant, with two of them standing majestically outside the dining room. The cooking focuses on honest, satisfying flavours in classically based dishes with a pared-back style. The ingredients’ abundant natural flavours are allowed to shine in the likes of well-seasoned lamb rump and shoulder with peas, asparagus and cous cous.
