Björn Freitag, familiar from Goldener Anker in Dorsten, set up this interesting restaurant right on Königsallee, the shopping street known as the "Kö". The chic brasserie in Hotel Kö59 serves up seasonally inspired Rhenish cuisine, but international influences can also be detected on the menu. The menu ranges from Königsberger Klopse (meatballs in a white sauce with capers) to tartare of Simmental beef fillet with a mustard seed jus vinaigrette to fried king prawns with wild herbs and garlic.
