Housed in the stunning building of Casino Bern, a cultural centre opened in 1909 in the heart of the Old Town, this restaurant boasts a distinctive atmosphere created by the blend of a wonderful historic setting and brasserie chic, which extends onto the lovely large terrace in summer – a perfect spot from which to gaze out over the River Aare in the shade of the trees. The menu features classic cuisine as well as Italian-inspired dishes. A set menu (also available in a vegetarian version) is complemented by an à la carte selection and large cuts of meat for two people. Alongside the restaurant, there is the Salon d'Or and Izakaya, which serves sushi and small plates.
