Whether you are off on holiday or driving to and from work, ViaMichelin helps you keep track of your travel budget by enriching the detailed cost of each trip by an additional criterion: your vehicle’s wear and tear.
Wouldn’t it be nice to really be able to keep a grip on your travel budget? For each trip, ViaMichelin provides you with the detailed and personalised cost of your journey including:
- Fuel costs. The precise cost of fuel consumption is calculated depending on the different types of roads of each journey and the details of the vehicle indicated by you.
- Toll costs. Motorway and city tolls, bridges, tunnels and stamps: the cost of European tolls is updated and adapted to your vehicle type.
- NEW: The cost of your vehicle’s wear and tear. The cost price per mile related to the wear and tear of your vehicle is calculated depending on the year of purchase, the year of entry into circulation, the purchase price and your yearly mileage.
How does it work?
- I calculate my route and fill in my vehicle’s details.
- The route suggested asks me if I want to calculate the wear and tear of my vehicle.
- I fill in the data making it possible to calculate my vehicle’s wear and tear.
- My final route indicates the cost of my vehicle’s wear and tear in the global cost of the journey.
- By clicking on detailed cost of my journey, I can see a page that explains all the costs related to my journey.
