Description
Partly modernised in 2018, this museum housed in the old inn used by Wellington as his headquarters examines the roles of the nations involved in the conflict, through documents, engravings, weapons and authentic mementoes. Wellington's room houses the table on which the Allied victory declaration was drafted. One room is dedicated to the battle, another to the Waterloo connection which aims to encourage exchanges between the 125 places named Waterloo across the globe.
