Famous characters such as Cosimo de Medici, Mozart and Goethe have all spent time in this extraordinary garden which has retained its original appearance since its creation in 1580. At the end of the famous avenue of cypress trees which crosses the garden, a spiral staircase leads to a belvedere offering fine views of the town.
