This museum is devoted to modern and contemporary Japanese art, known as suiboku-ga, a style of ink painting originally from China. Its permanent holdings contain work by very famous artists of the likes of Yokoyama Taikan, Takeuchi Seiho and Akira Kaho. Temporary exhibitions are also organised several times a year. Next to the contemporary Japanese-inspired main building, you can sip a cup of macha tea in the tea house overlooking the garden.
