Description
Tucked away in an unspoiled hollow of the Chartreuse range, the austere solemnity of the monastery and Correrie (where the monks lived) is impressive. A tour of the museum will acquaint you with the history and daily lives of the Carthusian monks through documents and objects of daily life, but also films and testimonials by monks and their relatives. The modern, pleasant layout of the museum provides an insight into why the sons of Saint Bruno have sought and found refuge here for over 1000 years.
