Description

This stately home (1786) was occupied by the Physick family until 1940, when it was willed to the Pennsylvania Hospital. In the 1960s, philanthropists Walter and Lenore Annenberg purchased the property and funded the renovation that turned the house into a Federal-period showpiece. The fine collection of furnishings reflect the Federal and Empire styles.
