Useful information

Description

Demolished long ago, Franklin Court, a family home, has been re-created around a steel frame. A museum shows an interesting array of audio-visual presentations that celebrate the extraordinary Benjamin Franklin. The Printing Office reflects the importance of the press and the distribution of news, of which Franklin was one of the first proponents. The print shop that he built for his grandson has been replicated (demonstrations on the machinery).
