Description
The miniature museum is housed in the chapel of the former Hôtel-Dieu hospital. Arranged on three floors, the collection includes illuminated manuscripts, furniture from dolls' houses and portraits on ivory, all with an emphasis on the very small. The miniatures have been loaned by museums, collectors and French miniature art clubs, and are renewed on a regular basis. Micro-miniatures, invisible to the naked eye but visible through eyepieces and magnifying glasses, are also exhibited
