Description

The Palacio de la Cultura's neo-Gothic-style building (1925) with a checkered façade once housed the seat of the government of Antioquia. Today it is home to the city's historical archives, as well as two exhibition spaces. The Sala Museo Rafael Uribe Uribe (1859-1914) is dedicated to the lawyer, writer and politician from Antioquia. The Sala de Patrimonio Artístico presents works by local artists. On the top floor, a belvedere looks out over the building's dome and Plaza Botero.
