Description
Located on the flank of the Chartreuse massif, this château was originally a fortified house (13C), of which only the two round towers at the entrance bear witness, as the current castle is 15C. The interior, furnished and richly decorated, still features remarkable inlaid wooden floors and mementoes of the Empire. As for the grounds, restored to their 18C aspect, they boast a remarkable Italian-style water stairway. There is a lovely view of the Belledonne massif from the terraces.
