Description
The objects presented on four floors in the outhouses of the 18C Beaulieu Castle were assembled by the painter Dubuffet from 1945 and later bequeathed by him to the city. The Art Brut paintings, drawings, sculptures, models and embroidery made from unusual materials displayed here are all the work of men and women on the fringes of society with no contact with the cultural world.
