Dinh Bang, in the Red River Delta, has two interesting monuments. Den Do, a temple built in memory of the Ly royal dynasty (1009-1225), which came from the village, attracts large crowds, particularly during a huge festival held on the 15th day of the third lunar month. The Dinh Dong Khang, a communal house built in the 18C, has carved wooden ornamentation and a roof that are both unique. The 12th day of the second lunar month is a good time to visit, when traditional operas are held.
