Search a tourist attraction

In order to understand the events of the Battle of Dien Bien Phu, head to this historic site where numerous strategic locations have been maintained or reconstructed. On the hill known as Colline Éliane to the French and A1 to the Vietnamese, you can still see defences, casemates and trenches. The hill opposite houses a reconstruction of General Christian de Castries' command post. A memorial to French soldiers has been built nearby.
