Description
This parish and pilgrimage church is made up of a Baroque central section with a rotunda crowned by a huge dome (decorated with a fresco of the Assumption) that is surrounded by four semi-circular chapels, topped by half domes. A miraculous wax statuette of the Infant Jesus, just 10cm in height, stands above a globe-shaped tabernacle. The gilded Rococo-style pulpit (1751) is sumptuous in its decoration.
